the seventh instalment of kisan samman nidhi yojana was announced by prime minister narendra modiji. the amount has been sent to the farmers' account on the birth anniversary of former prime minister atal bihari vajpayee ji. a video conferencing was organized by prime minister narendra modi ji on 25 december 2020. through this video conferencing, he spoke to the farmers. he said that more than rs.18,000 crore has been sent to the accounts of 9 crore farmers of the country. the amount has been transported from the bank account of the farmers through a single click. so far, more than 1 lakh 10 thousand crore rupees have been credited to the accounts of farmers under the scheme.
he also informed that no commission has been taken to transport the amount to the farmers' bank. no cuts have been made and no manipulation has been done. the amount has been transported to the farmers' account using technology.
he also informed that the amount is disbursed to the farmers after registration by the state government and verification of their bank accounts.
it was also informed by the prime minister that all the state governments across the country are linked to the kisan samman nidhi yojana list. but the west bengal government has not implemented this scheme in west bengal. the farmers there are not getting the benefit of this scheme. 7000,000 farmers of west bengal are deprived of this scheme.
under this scheme, 2300,000 farmers of west bengal had applied but the state government has stopped the verification process.

as you all know, through the kisan samman nidhi yojana, financial assistance of ₹6,000 is provided by the government every year. so far, an amount of 7 instalments has been provided under the scheme. the amount of 8th instalment will be credited to the account of beneficiary farmers in april, 2021. now, all the beneficiaries of this scheme can also avail the benefits of kisan mandhan yojana with annual ₹36000. kisan mandhan yojana is a type of pension scheme. under the scheme, an amount of ₹3000 per month is paid after attaining the age of 60 years. beneficiaries of the scheme do not need to submit any document separately to avail this benefit. farmers credit card holders can also avail the benefits of the scheme.

about 11 crore pm kisan nidhi account holders do not even need to spend money separately to avail the benefits of kisan mandhan yojana nor do they need to put up any separate documents. if the beneficiaries of pm kisan samman nidhi yojana want to avail the benefits of the honorarium scheme, they will have to choose the option of contribution. this selection can be made by visiting the nearest kiosk centre. if you select the contribution, the monthly instalment of the honorarium scheme will be deducted from the ₹6000 you get every year and you can also get ₹36000 per annum after attaining the age of 60 years and also get ₹6000 kisan samman nidhi yojana.
The honorarium scheme can also be availed by citizens who are not availing the benefits of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. All the farmers who are between 18 and 40 years of age can avail the benefits of Kisan Mandhan Yojana. The beneficiary should not have more than 2 hectares of land to avail the benefits of the scheme. According to the age of the beneficiary, he/she will have to pay a premium ranging from ₹55 to ₹200.

so far, 7 instalments have been provided to farmers by the government under kisan samman nidhi scheme. the 8th instalment will be provided to the beneficiaries of the scheme by the end of may. all farmers who are not eligible for the scheme will have to refund the money received under the scheme. some new guidelines have been issued by the government so that the ineligible farmers are not able to avail the benefits of the scheme further.

the list of beneficiaries will be provided to the central government by the state governments and union territories. in such a situation, it will be the responsibility of all the state and union territory governments to verify the eligibility of the farmers. the list of beneficiaries provided by the states and union territories will be valid for 1 year. after 1 year, the state will again provide a list of all eligible farmers. however, the names of farmers identified later can be uploaded by the states and union territories on the pm kisan samman nidhi portal. all states and union territories will have to update the names of eligible farmers on the portal from time to time.

under kisan samman nidhi scheme list, financial assistance of ₹6000 is provided to all eligible farmers every year. this financial assistance is provided at an interval of 4 months in instalments of ₹2000. the scheme is implemented through aadhaar link electronic database. in case of availing benefits of the scheme, it is mandatory to provide aadhaar number to the beneficiary. it is not mandatory to provide aadhaar number to assam, meghalaya and jammu and kashmir till 31st march, 2021. all these states will have to complete their aadhaar enrolment by 31st march, 2021. thereafter, the citizens of these states will also have to provide their aadhaar number to avail the benefits of the scheme. states and union territories have to ensure that no single beneficiary gets money twice.

a self declaration form will be filled up by the state government from eligible beneficiaries which will also have an undertaking.
in this undertaking, it will be agreed to use aadhaar number for verification of eligibility by the beneficiary.
the land ownership system available in the state will be used to identify the beneficiary.
the land records of all the states should be clear.
the list of all eligible beneficiaries will be published at village level.
further, all farmer families who are eligible but are not being provided the benefit of the scheme will be given an opportunity to represent their case.
